Short kwento and December Challenge

This is just a very quick post. I had a bunch of things in mind to write, but again, there are so many things to do, to prepare and to plan. I'll make bawi talaga this January.

Just now I asked Ayvan why did he throw his toy, kasi tapon siya ng tapon.

Ayvan: AMBO. (high pitch kaya all caps)

Me: I can't understand you.

Pinaupo ko paharap sakin. And then...

Ayvan: Looked me in the eye and began blinking his eyes in an OA way like almost squeezing them shut sabay sabi ng ALA NA.

Hanep idaan ako sa pagpapacute. Manang mana sa talaga sa tatay niya!

For day 21 - 23, the photos are below.

Baby Picture. Sorry I don't have baby pics e, kaya Ayvan's nalang. That was 3 hours after he got out from my stomach.

Ang hirap magselfie pag hindi mp bahay. Haha makikiselfie lang po. Chos!

At dahil gusto ko related parin lahat sa xmas, ayan kinuha ko muna sa Christmas tree nila. Hihi

Hope everything is good with all of you.God provides kaya for sure masaya ang New Year's Eve natin. Stay away from paputok and avoid buying kahit nakakatempt. Set a good example to your children.

December Challenge 18-20 and a greeting from Ayvan

Everyone here in the house is busy preparing for tonight. We will be holding a mini Christmas party with the tinderas of Tita Nette's [Ace's Tita] store and pharmacy. I am so excited and happy now. Hihi
And I am on leave until Thursday! Isn't it so wonderful?! Thank God they prioritized my request or else I am still at work by now.

For day 18-20 here's my photos.

*That's my favorite spot! Ayvan's playpen, where we sleep most of the time.

*That's a hot tea, a winter drink. Sometimes if I have kabag my Mom used to give me this drink to make me fart. Hihi

*Christmas tree. The first time I took a photo of that tree was early this month and it doesn't have any gift pa, but look at it now, madami na and of course most of those are for Ayvan.

At that point, I finally had the time to post this. I'll promise I will finish my December challenge.

Anyways, have a Merry Christmas to you from my Little Star.

Enjoy the Noche Buena and your family bond. Let's talk again tomorrow, yes?

December Challenge 15-17/31

Hi there! Hope everything is well with all of you guys.

Again, I sincerely apologize for the delay of the photos. I have been very occupied lately. I got to do a lot of things.

+ Ayvan's 1st birthday. I know, I know, it should be set by now but I had to lurk for the best and most affordable resto in town that can accommodate us for January 12 because most of the store now are fully booked. I did not plan this ahead because I waited for a GO signal from Ace's family of where it will be held. They want to celebrate it in the new house sana, but the house is not yet finished so I took the first step na.

+ we are about to move into our house since we already got a Yaya for our little man. We are planning to do this the first week of January.

+ Ace and I's problem is wearing me too much that I could not almost do anything. It makes me lazy whenever I start thinking about it. Tsk too bad.

And lastly, my work became too stressful lately. I feel like it's too much na but I have to remain calm.

Those are only a fraction of my busy December life or should I say stressful life [lately].

I guess you can now forgive me for not being consistent with my challenge, eh? Hihi

So anyway here are the photos.

DAY 15: Best friend

Her name is Wherl Marie but I opt calling her Mek-Mek even if she hates it so much.Haha. She has been my bestfriend for 3 years now.

DAY 16: MCM (Man crush Monday)

That's Mark and Fij, my two ultimate crush! Sssshh quiet lang tayo ha? Kasi ang alam ni Ace siya lang crush ko. Haha.

DAY 17: Hair

That's Ayvan's hair. It‘s thin and color brown. He looks like a foreigner nga e. I hope kumapal kasi mine is manipis and he got it from me pa naman.

*I compiled them nalang in one post. With all the stuff that I need to do, I don't think I can afford to post them one by one.

There you go guys, 3 in 1. Hihi

Pizza Hut's Party Package

Hello again,

Yesterday, I had an hour calling the nearest reputable restaurant in our place and I was surprised that Pizza Hut has a party package too. So I called their Robinson's Metro East branch and spoke to Arlina. She then provided me the quote, and guess what?! I was so happy with it because it's not that expensive at all. Yay! Finally.

They have 5 Kiddie Packages

And for adults they have

They also have 2 themes to choose from - for boys & girls.

Papa John's Pizza Birthday Packages

Hi Mommies,

My son's birthday is near, I am now preparing for it. And as a working Mom, I know how hard it is to prepare specially if work schedule is too hectic. That's also the reason why I prefer a fuzz free party, like what I did on his Christening.

I have been lurking the web to search for an affordable but reputable fast food restaurant for my little boy. And starting today I will share my finds.

The starter is PAPA JOHN'S PIZZA. Yes, they already have their party packages and they just launched it last August.
I ask for a quote from Beck - Branch Manager in Brick Road branch Sta. Lucia. Here's what she emailed to me.

And here are the list of their branches in Metro Manila.

December Challenge 14/31: SIBLING

Hi bloggers & readers!

How's the Christmas preparations? Doing good so far eh? It's so close na! I'm very excited.

I'm back with my 3rd installment. I genuinely apologize for doing this late, I know I should be on time but there are circumstances that are not favourable to me.

And just last night I was in the midst of a personal problem with Ace. I was exhausted, sleepy, cranky, frustrated, disappointed and dismay. I will not go into details na because I want to keep it private.

I did not go to work today instead I will bring Ayvan to his Pedia later to get my day productive naman even if I don't feel doing anything. I need to stay strong and calm for my little one. I know, I know, dramas.

Anyway, last Saturday, Ace cooked ADOBO for us. It was in fact very tasty indeed!! I never doubted his cooking skills but it still surprised me, knowing we are not in their house and the cookware that he used are not as fancy as what they have.

He also cooked us spaghetti, Pinoy style. I was not able to catch a photo of it kasi sinungaban ko kagad. Hihi

And the little man is feeling at home na. I caught him sitting on his cousin's lap and watching carefully. Haay kids nowadays.

MEANWHILE...

For my 14th day is sibling.

Me and my brother don't have a lot of pictures together. We grew apart - physically and figuratively. He got married at the age of 20 and even if I am just 2 years younger, he matured early that I were not able to keep up. Well, I realize that he needs to and I was not against it, but I felt like I lose him too early.

December Challenge 13/31: HOODIE

Heya! Yes, this is the 2nd part of my CATCHING UP project for December.

Last Friday we went to Batangas. We awoke early, fixed ourselves and packed our things.

Ace's father came to reconcile some things with Manila Water. He offered to drop us off at South Station, where we hopped into a DELA ROSA bus.

The trip was smooth, we arrived there after only 2 hours from Alabang. The baby just slept and my arms sore. It was worth it because its another first for us.

When we arrived, Mom prepared us lunch. We ate and then we went to SM Batangas to buy some groceries. We left even to his Lola - they need to bond, its timing! They need it.

It was not my first time in SM Batangas, but I'm still not familiar with it - Even commuting to go there. Hihi

And this is Ace's new finds, before he only knew QUICKLY, now there's HAPPY LEAF na. Haha Oh how he loves those.

And when we returned home Ayvan was crying with tears na... meaning hindi na siya umaarteng iyak iyakan lang. Haha

MEANWHILE...

For day 13 of December Challenge is HOODIE.

That's me and my bestfriend wearing the same jacket with hood. I look for that jackey in our closet to take a photo sana, but I couldn't find it. Did I drop it somewhere? Hmm I need to find it before she asks me to wear it. :(

December Challenge 12/31: Handwriting

Hello! I'm back now. I apologize again for the lack of post, like I told you in my previous post I have become too busy and did not have any internet connection for a couple of days. I've been hankering to write a post, but things won't go my way.

Here's my catch up post for my December challenge.

Thursday, what did I do that day? Hmm, now let me think...

I went to another company Thanksgiving Dinner. They had organized a raffle for us but I'm not one of those lucky employees who bagged the prizes. I suppose I'm not fortunate with raffles, I hate to admit it, but, really, I suppose I am.

The dinner was at Kamay Kainan in Market Market. I actually did not eat that much because the food to me looks not good for anybody's health. We call them "Putok Batok" food. Their pork sinigang tasted good, though, it was spicy, I'm sorry but anything spicy is good to me. Hihi

I had 7 glasses of iced tea and a meduim bowl of ice cream. Yes, dead hungry ang peg ko sa iced tea that night.

As we won the BEST TEAM of the month.Excuse the person who wrapped me, I guess he was too overwhelmed. I told him not to do that again. *Peace*

MEANWHILE...

For day 12 of December Challenge, here's my handwriting.

I practiced the all caps when I was in High School. My father is an Engineer and I envied his handwriting and mastered it, kaya I have those fine all caps. I find it really cute. Hihi

Alright, that's it for now friends.

This is my 1st installment of my project CATCHING UP.

Blogsphere! I miss you.

Guys! How are you all?!

I miss blogging. As you can see, I have not been able to post for a couple days already. It's because we went to Batangas and I have been very busy with all the Christmas fever.

Anyway, I'm back today and I will continue my December Challenge. Was trying to post last night but the internet sucks at home so I decided to just sleep and do it today.

When I checked my Facebook account earlier this morning I read an article that was shared by one of my friend titled "DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LOVE AND MARRIAGE" and I have to share this with you Mommys out there! I was just very struck by this story.

A student asks a teacher, “What is love?”

The teacher said, “in order to answer your question, go to the wheat field and choose the biggest wheat and come back.

But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick.”

The student went to the field, go thru first row, he saw one big Wheat, but he wonders….may be there is a bigger one later.

Then he saw another bigger one… but may be there is an even bigger one waiting for him.

Later, when he finished more than half of the wheat field, he start to realize that the wheat is not as big as the previous one he saw, he know he has missed the biggest one, and he regretted.

So, he ended up went back to the teacher with empty hand.

The teacher told him, “…this is love… you keep looking for a better one, but when later you realize, you have already miss the person….”

*”What is marriage then?” the student asked..  The teacher said,

“in order to answer your question, go to the corn field and choose the biggest corn and come back. But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick.”

The student went to the corn field, this time he is careful not to repeat the previous mistake, when he reach the middle of the field, he has picked one medium corn that he feel satisfy, and come back to the teacher.

The teacher told him, “this time you bring back a corn…. you look for one that is just nice, and you have faith and believe this is the best one you get…. this is marriage.”

December Challenge 10/31: Cuddle Buddy

Hello once again.

Today is Ayvan's 11'th Month. Time surely flies so fast. Looking at him now [who's sleeping next to me], I can't believe he is the same little guy I grew in my belly. It makes me wonder how beautiful he becomes more everyday.

Those little fingers and toes which are a copy of his father's. Those smooth and thin brown hair that he got from me. His fair and smooth skin na kagigil. His fresh and sweet scent. All these make me feel blessed, contented and thankful to conceive such a wondrous gift. The happiness that we feel whenever he smiles is immeasurable. I thank God for giving him to us.

We totally adore and love him so much.

To our dearest Ayvan,

Happy 11'th months old! We are here for you and always will be. We will enjoy you as much as you'll enjoy your childhood.

Love,
Mom & Dad

Meanwhile...

For Day 10 of my December Challenge is them. My cuddle buddies.

QOTD: When did you feel that time flies?
