Viber extend their help

Viber made a big step in helping fellow Filipinos. They are temporarily letting viber registered users/numbers to call for free to a (non-viber) number inside and outside the Philippines.

I tried this last night to check my family in Cebu and I would say that this is a huge help. I spoke with them with no fuzz, found out that they're okay and not that affected by the Typhoon in their area.

What you need to do is just go to Viber and select a contact on your list and tap the VIBER OUT on the side of the number to call for free. This is also good to a landline number.

To the people behind Viber App TWO THUMBS UP! I salute you Sir/Madame for doing this.

The following is a list of supported destinations

Landline and Mobile (all numbers):

USA & Canada, UK, Australia, Austria, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Italy, Israel, Japan
Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, Thailand

Landline Only (no mobile phones):

Argentina, Brazil, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Lithuania
Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania
Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Venezuela

Call your family now!

Clearly every Filipino has a good heart. To those who haven't dropped their donations, please check the list here of where you can drop it off. Together we can get through to this.

God Bless everyone and live long.
